Remember the good old days when it actually took about ten minutes to boot you desktop computer up and there was no such thing as broadband satellite internet connections?
Connecting to the World Wide Web would mean that you would have to click on that little telephone icon to connect to the internet then wait & wait & wait and guess what, wait some more before you got connected to internet.
All while listening to that wacky fax machine kind a sound before you were connected then it took forever but we didn’t know any better back then, but then again 56k was fast for a page to load especially if it was text only wow super fast. Put any kind of multimedia images on it page you were really slow to connect.
Well get off the tractor and jump into that shinny almost new Chevy supercharged big block with the hemi engine because you’re going from dial-up to broadband or satellite internet connection, for all you country folks that mean high speed broadband internet connection has gone rustic…
Now all you have to do is turning on your computer and you’re already connected to the internet!
Yeah, well if you’re city slickers you’re spoiled already because we’re use to it but for suburbia getting instant access at broadband connection speed, guess what?
No dial-ups means no more waiting, waiting…and waiting, just to start it all over again because you didn’t get a connection the first time…
The good old days…lol
Because harnessing the power of todays advanced technology & broadband Internet we are already connected internet instantly by the time your computer or laptop finish booting up. That also means software upgrades, MP3 files, video clips and digital images downloaded much faster and easily. Today dial-up is like the dinosaurs something our kids read about like 8 track cassettes or cassette tape decks, welcome to the age of information technology.
